Some commercial stuff for the Bluewater Productions on horizon.
First of all a Sarah Palin (!) pinup for the fourth printing of her bio comic (should be out by now [link]. There will be also a Joan Jett cover for The Runaways comic book (the shit hits the shelf in early 2010).

I still have some unpublished stuff I did for cereal:geek magazine but I won't show it until the next issue comes out. When? It depends of the sales of the already printed issues.

So, I'm becoming an artist for hire. Yay?
Anyway, if you're interested in commissions just email or PM me.

Remember the cereal:geek magazine? ([link] Sure you do. I've decided to pimp this magazine a little bit. There are five issues out now, so I thought you may be interested. BUT! What's even more interesting is that there are two SAME/AS PDF Specials for ONLY £1.50 ($2.50) each. No adverts and 100 pages - what else is needed?

SAME/AS #1 - features material from the first FOUR issues.
SAME/AS #2 - features material from the first SIX issues. (Yes, six. And the 6th one isn't out yet!)

I encourage you to click here [link] and support this wonderful project.

And as we're speaking of pimping - there are two days left for a free worldwide shipping on all DA print products, so you are one click away (here! [link] from having something eye-pleasing on your walls. Check it out!

It's been awhile since I've written something. It's mostly because all I write I put in Journal at my website (bullsik.com/blog, it's in Polish, unfortunately). For the last few months I was rather absent. As you have seen, most of this years' works was for cereal:geek magazine (I'm still working for them). But don't worry. I will try to bring the sexy back. My creativity needs a little hand job, needs to be encouraged, needs some time and some enthusiasm. I feel the Potency.

PS. Oh, and I became a Master of Philosophy recently! Yeah, time to quit those studies.

Female troubles may happen to everyone. Ever thought of how drag queens deal with everyday life? Madame La Kukuruku says it best: only a man knows how hard is to be a real woman! The real suffering is when you cut while shaving and you're more concerned about your make-up flowing down rather than your open wound!

RULES:
- Everyone can enter this contest.
- You may only enter with one entry.
- All contest entries must be submitted after February 8, 2008.
- To enter the contest just submit your entry to DeviantArt and send me a note (subject: "Female Troubles Contest") containing a link to your contest Deviation.
- I don't accept photography or poetry or any other stuff except for drawing or painting (digital or traditional, any style).

THE DEADLINE IS MARCH 8, 2008 (which is International Women's Day)

After this date I will set up an open voting for everyone (you'll be informed via DeviantArt news) and you'll choose the winners.

A tip: Remember that you are drawing a drag queen, so she shouldn't be too feminine or too masculine. Try to find a good synthesis of both, to catch the androgyny with a bit of grotesque feel to it.

Note:
Bitter Glitter is a name for a group of Bullsik's fictional, non-existing models (or characters, as some would say). He invents them out of lack of the real ones. Therefore, Madame La Kukuruku is a pure fiction and so is her story and a place of her origin.

Some (un)useful facts about Madame La Kukuruku:

Real name: Filip

Residence: Szczecin, Poland

Origin: Filip comes from a little village called Udders which is located near Szczecin. He's very ashamed of his primitive roots and moving to Szczecin was his way of achieving a brand new (but not so happy) life.

Occupation: He/She is a full-time transvestite and occasionally a live-singing drag queen.

Friends: Other "Bitter Glitter" models ( [link] )

Heroes: Divine, Madonna, Lady Bunny, Dee D. Jackson and Sally Spectra.

2007 was filled with few hillocks and many deep valleys. But I'm not complaining. When you're young all your failures should be labeled as "experience". And for me it's always experiencing things, not failing. Once again I have learned so much about myself. I have realized I live in a great "between". Between everything. Sometimes it's annoying because you don't know which way you should follow. When you live in a cocoon of your own mind you should know that there are many of us. We just can't talk to each other. We're communicatively handicapped. Permanently, I'm afraid.

2008 is knocking on our doors. I hope that next year will be better for all of you. Just keep going beyond your abilities. Keep seeing the Human in a human. And don't be afraid to talk to each other because it seems to be the only cure for a soul cancer (and when I say "talk" it's not only about talking with your voice - talk with your songs, talk with your paintings, talk through your creations). Finding your own place in this world is one of the hardest task you'll ever have to challenge. Don't give up!

Ok, in a few hours I'm going on a road to meet my few soulmates. And to drink beyond my limits. I know it's early but I'm starting today!

Happy new year!

33 is a master degree. It's definitely too early for this.

The Past
Thank you for all the birthday wishes. It was quite a good evening. With a bad hangover. Just too much of different kinds of alcohol.

I have watched 52 episodes of Nip/Tuck in just three weeks. Few episodes more and I will be ready for a new season.

The Present
On the political level it was a good day. The election. Prime minister Kaczynski has lost his power. You have no idea how many Poles are masturbating in happiness right now.

The Future
I've won something in the Manson European contest. I'm glad because I didn't have the money for another concert and now I will have a free ticket to Hamburg. So I'm gonna see His Excellence once again this year. Watch out Manson, here I come!

I smell winter in the air. And they say it will be fucking freezy. I just need some warmth to live it. An internal warmth.

1-2-3-4-6-8-12-24

I don't remember what I was doing during the first three years of my life. But:
At the age of 4 I was touching my friends in the kindergarten.
At the age of 6 I have experienced the fall of communism.
At the age of 8 I knew what the condom is made for.
At the age of 12 I started to loose my identity.

It's September 14th and I'm turning 24. Just a glass of juice and vodka, Elvis and me. This damn date forces me to go out and celebrate. Well, it befits, isn't it?
This year was important for me. At least in a spiritual way. There was a mysterious breakthrough in my vision of relations which led me... nowhere, I guess. There's some black madness of change that surrounds me. But I don't know what it may be. And I don't want to know.

Happy birthday to me
Happy birthday to me
Happy birthday dear Bullsik... Shall we?

There are moments of desire. There are days of delight. There are weeks of delusion. There are months of depression. There are years of determination. There is a whole life of devouring your own tail, again and again until death. In the end, destrudo always overcomes libido, succesfully. I guess it's one of those basic principles of reality.

I've been out there in my little cocoon of mind for last five months. It was much stronger than last year's experience of dullness. My soul is shyly gravitating towards its higher points now, so there should be no worry. I shed my skin once again. I don't know if I'm too young or too old for some things. The calendar of my life is haunting me deceitfully. The only strange thing is that I find some peace in isolation. Relations between humans became my main subject of reflection. The more I know, the less I know. Another principle.

I just need to gather some skills for drawing. I have neglected it lately.

I've seen some great concerts last month. First of all, I saw Manson for the third time in my life. The show in Prague was unforgettable and left me wanting more, more! Skold, who gave us some autographs, said they will come back to Europe at the end of this year. Yes, I'm prepared for another show. Can't wait.

I just came back from the Heineken Open'er festival in Gdynia. It was raining half of the time and there was A LOT of mud (which ruined two pairs of my shoes). But it was worth it: I saw Björk, LCD Soundsystem, Groove Armada and Muse. Those were the best shows from the whole festival, definitely.

I feel inspired now.
Kisses and thank you for your support,

Michal.

I bet you wonder why I don't submit new works on DA. There's one main reason: I'm working on some illustrations to be published in some new magazine. It will be out in January, so I can't reveal it yet. ;)

My last work is new picture of Madame La Kukuruku. I felt like I must to draw her because the last time I drew something for myself was two months ago.
I have also some nice idea of depicting ancient icons. I just need time to do this.

Oh, and I finally have a commercial domain for my website. It's BULLSIK.COM - don't forget to add it to your favourites ;)

Once again, thank you for your support. And thank you for voting in my last poll. I wanted to know if my style is characteristic. It's because as the author I can't see it myslef.

Hello,
My university killed my drawing needs for a half year. I've almost forgotten how to draw! But now I'm back, from outer space *Gloria Gaynor mode* and recently I did Klaus Nomi and Oz. There is a big bunch of topics that I want to draw. It's hard to decide which first.

MY WEBSITE is finished. I made some new sections and finally I repaired this damn guest book. Feel free to leave a comment.

Thanks for your support!

Hello,
Long time no deviations. I had two busy months at the university (all exams passed!). But I'm working on my drawings again and I have a bunch of new, fresh ideas - just don't know when I'll make them real. I know it has been a long silence since my last deviation. I'm surprised too.

I finished the new design of MY WEBSITE. It's very simple, I hope you'll like it. Some sections are still under construction but I'll update them soon.

Now it's time to draw something new, something bigger and something better!

Michal
